ACCESSIBILITY
Last updated: September 27, 2026
We build websites for local businesses, and local means everyone. This page describes what we do about accessibility on this site and on the sites we build.
On this website
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. In practice that means text meets minimum contrast ratios against our background, every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard, focus is always visible, images carry meaningful alternative text, headings follow a logical order, forms have proper labels, and we honor your system setting if you've asked for reduced motion.
On the sites we build
Accessible structure is part of how we work, not an upgrade. Semantic markup, real labels, keyboard-operable navigation, sufficient contrast, and readable type sizes are how we build. We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA on the sites we build, though we do not certify conformance. Where a client supplies content — photographs without descriptions, or a PDF menu — we'll flag what needs attention and tell you how to fix it.
Where we fall short
Accessibility is ongoing, and we don't claim this site is perfect. We test with keyboard navigation and automated checks, and we fix what we find.
Tell us
If you hit a barrier on this site, email founder@weanchor.io and describe what happened and what you were trying to do. We'll respond within two business days and fix what we can.
